Rising Star of the Week
BULL CONNERS
Bull impressed the world with his impressive win this week! As soon as I saw this guy, I knew he had something special about him. He shows a ton of aggression and potential, making himself a candidate for stardom in OWA. Can you find someone else who makes you as scared as this guy does? I’ll give you some time. He’s on the right path and we could eventually see him go for the Spartan’s or OWA title. Good work on the win and keep up the hard work, Bull!
Promo Battle of the Week
ISAAC THORNTON vs SCOTTY ADAMS
Is it surprising at this point that Scotty is involved in this awards show? He’s Spartan’s Champ and a helluva promoer. Nothing changed this week as he went up against Isaac Thornton in a great promo battle. Scotty continues to solidify his status as one of OWA’s best talents. However, don’t ignore Isaac because he brought a fire this week in his promos, putting the champ up to the test. This guy is a gem, so be sure to keep an eye on him. You guys are killing it and honestly, this shouldn’t be a shock considering the Spartan’s Division is at an all-time high.
Match of the Week
SWEET ROXY vs HENDRIX
Yes, I’m gonna give this the match of the week as well since it caused a ton of change in our current OWA landscape. In a night full of eventful moments, this was catching my eye the most. This was exactly what a main event should be; hard-hitting and leaving it all on the line. These girls brought in 110% in the ring, proving why they’re with the Omega locker room. As I watched this match transpire I was at the edge of my seat, wondering who would end up winning. Seeing Roxy pick up the victory left my jaw open, wondering how HENDRIX would react. This is a great start for Roxy but it also leaves the possibility that HENDRIX could bounce back and reclaim her gold.
Promoer of the Week
GARETH CASON
Gareth showed why he remains undefeated this week with an excellent promo on his end. His legit dangerous personality resonates around OWA and he will not take any disrespect to his name. Gareth has been on a roll since his arrival to OWA and his promo game continues to improve. We know you’ll continue to prove why you’re Legit Dangerous!
Goddess of the Week
SWEET ROXY
Congratulations to the NEW OWA Women’s Champ! After a surprising turn of events, Sweet Roxy took the brass ring and beat HENDRIX after an amazing and emotional match. Roxy becomes our second Women’s Champion at the age of 19! She had only recently started with OWA, but after her historic victory making her voice heard rather quickly in the Land of the Omega. No one would expect such a victory, but anything and everything can happen in OWA. Once seeing this hard-fought victory, I couldn’t choose anyone else but this motivated and new Goddess in the game. The News Center team hopes your title reign makes waves in OWA and the amazing Goddess division.
Alpha of the Week
SCOTTY ADAMS
This is a long time coming for the current Spartan’s Champion! He had a hell of a defense against Isaac Thornton this week and continues to climb up the ranks. Since his arrival, this guy has pushed through the opposition and made a name for himself. He’s fresh off a win from Game Over with his new Spartan’s belt, and I don’t see him dropping that belt anytime soon. Scotty is the definition of a defending champion in OWA and makes the Spartan’s title feel like a world title with the amount of effort he puts towards it every week. Congratulations, Scotty! You deserve this prize and honestly, I don’t think this will be the last time we’ll see you winning this award for the week.
