Looking at the physiques of many on OWA's payroll, it's easy to poke holes in the old adage that all men (and women) are created equal. It's common knowledge that the rigors of life in the ring have transformed OWA's best and brightest into some of the fittest athletes on earth. How they got that way is no mystery, but as far as how they all stay that way? That's the secret some are clammoring for the answer to, and that's the part that seems easier said than done.
It would be almost impossible to compile the tips, tricks, and hacks that every Alpha and Goddess uses to keep themselves looking like a full-size cardboard cutout ad for protein powder in a GNC store, but OWA has condensed it all in the best way possible with the addition of the OWA Body Series. Of all the merchandise selling like hotcakes on shopomega.com this Black Friday weekend, that dual DVD or Blu-Ray set is considered by many to be the most intriguing addition.
The training regimens covered in the Body Series were crafted as a joint effort between celebrity trainers Jillian Michaels (The Biggest Loser) and Tony Horton (P90X) and the training staff of OWT. Together, all of them managed to come up with workouts that, while challenging and designed to produce results, were suitable for OWA fans to try out at home. Disk one is geared toward strength training, with an emphasis on bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, and weight training. Disc two focuses more on cardio, with quite a bit of time spent on high-intensity interval training. With warm-up exercises, detailed meal plans, and a calendar to track your progress all included, the Body Series has everything you need to get a jump start on sculpting that body that you otherwise would've killed for.
Each disk of the Body Series is hosted by a different set of OWA wrestlers, which likely accomplishes two things: 1.) they provide helpful demos, so that you know you're doing all of the exercises right, and B.) having them in your face urging you to do two more reps is pretty great motivation. The complete list of Alphas and Goddesses featured in the Body Series is as follows:
Disk One Trainers:
Bull Connors
Carlos Rosso
CASPIAN
Christopher Sabertooth
Dulce Torres

Disc Two Trainers:

With a lineup like that, those watching at home will have no shortage of sources of inspiration in their fitness journeys.
