OWT Embedded: Episode 1

(OWA Network logo buzes on the screen as it transitions to the front of the OWA Performance Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). [Title Card - Episode 1]

Gage: Lovely morning ain’t it

(The Camera shows Gage Braddock, member of the ‘Boston Air Raid’ team exiting his car, walking up to the back doors. He’s followed by his brother Gavin Braddock). Gavin: Got’ Damm’ fools got us wakin’ up so early (Gage flashes his ID as the door opens).

Gage: You know what they say. Finn woke up earlier than Keelan back In Ju- Gavin: Shaddap

(Camera cuts from the entering the Performance center, to the brothers finishing getting dressed in their training gear, with Gavin trying his boot).

(Voice Over) Gavin: Y’know thiss’ takin’ me back

(Camera shows Gage getting prepped in his corner of the empty locker room while Gavin stands, pointing to the far end). Gavin: My fathva’, right, he had like dis’, dis’ set up ding’ Gage: (jokingly) “Dis set up ding”, Ha, ha

Gavin: Oh shut up’ gage, you know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout. Seein’ all this, first time around, made me think’ back to when’, we were just two boys, and as soon’ as we told my pa’ we wanted to wrestle he was ecstatic!!

Gage: Bought us a whole wresslin’ mat (camera centers on Gage, tying his boots and stepping off the bench).

Gage: comin’ from a wresslin’ family rite’, we weren’t wealthy, but we got on’. Pa didn’t have a big warehous’, so he just set up a hi’gh school’ mat in tha’ basement.

Gavin: Oh those ropes, HAH!! Ropes were like Bungee cords-

Gage: On yard sticks stuck in sandbags’!! HAHA!! The ring finally went undah’ when he tried to do a springboard!! (gestures downwards with both hands).

(Camera cuts from both the brothers laughing, to a commons area near the Performance Center’s mess area. The Camera pans over the room before centering on a TV screen, broadcasting one of the past episodes of Olympus). [TV] Robbie V: we wanted to take the opportunity to come out here right now and explain to everybody why Aria calling up Aren in her time of need was the worst mistake she’s ever made in her whole life.

[TV] CM Nas: I AM THE INDUSTRY! I RUN THIS PLACE! Final Destination, Boiling Point, Olympus, and SO MANY OTHER THINGS ARE A RESULT OF ME!

(Voice Over) Kat Ricci: it’s so crazy you know (Camera pans to Kat Ricci, Cassidy Vega, and Ruby Auriel all sitting at one of the tables watching the rerun). Kat Ricci: I remember years back, watching Nas and them all, wanting to be like them. Now we’re here, training to be there one day!!

Cassidy Vega: Mum’s always been like “You’re gona’ get there, you’re gona’ win dah belts, and yah fathva and I’ll throw a party with you and Mia!!”, Heh….. always seemed like a dream until I finally walked in here….

Ruby Auriel: My mom was scared-

Kat Ricci: mmhmm. The top rope moves always make her nervous.

Ruby Auriel: I remember the time my dad flew me out her. She was so hysterical, “Joey she’s gonna break her neck!!!”, and my dad was just like “She’s fine margret, she’s fallen on her head enough times”.

Cassidy Vega: HAH!!! I love wrestling parents!!

(The Camera transitions to the main ring room of the Performance Center. Four main rings are positioned staggered throughout the room, as many of the OWT roster are seen practicing various moves).

(Voice Over) Aengus O’Leary: Come on ‘let me’ see yer stand up..

(Camera pans to Aengus O’Leary standing in stance with Erufuji, the later, the kickboxer, looking hesitant. Chesterblack can be see bobbing against the ropes as Kaya Rayleigh rests against the ropes). Aengus: Oh come on yah little twerp Erufuji: Dunno mah, you’re more of a brawler Aengus: Oh so what?

Erufuji: Ever heard of- you’re out of my weight class? Aengus: This is fuckin’ pro wrestling, yah tart, now let’s lock up!!

(Camera cuts to both men rebounding off opposite ropes before locking up in the center. Aengus seems to be getting the advantage, before Erufiju suddenly drops levels, hiptossing Aengus onto his back). Kaya: HAH!!!

Aengus: Yah Fokin’ bastard!! (Camera cuts from Chester and Erufuji helping Aengus up, to the irish man standing next to the kickboxer). Aengus: Me and Eru here- Erufuji: Erufuji. One word. Aengus: Ah, whatever- (Aengus puts his arm around the man’s shoulder, Eru seeming awkwardly uncomfortable). Aengus: He’s got the body mass of a sandwich but he hits DAMN Hard!! We were goin’ out to the club on nite’ round here. Some guy was hustlin’ us, and Eru knocked ‘em CLEAN OUT!! (Camera zooms in on Kaya in the background, practicing her Clinch and Lockup with Chester). Kaya: That was after you got drunk and got into a whiskey fight with the man

Aengus: Details kaya-

(Camera cuts to a shot of Kaya practicing her frog splashes on a a practice dummy, then to a shot of her practicing and hitting a grounded headlock in Chester). (Voice Over) Aengus: that’s Kaya. craziest new yorker’ I’ve ever known

(The Camera pans to Aengus watching and commenting her practicing the grounded headlock). Aengus: You wouldn’t think she’d pick bigger guys like us as sparring partnah’s, but she’s a wildey one’

Kaya: (gazes up) I mean it’s not hard fighting a 260 irish Oldhead- Aengus: Aight thas’ enough smack woman.

(The camera cuts to a montage of Sydney. St. Clair. We see the english girl practicing with Ashlyn Moon. First hitting a Coppu kick, then a Rolling Thunder DDT, before we see her practicing ducking strikes from Ashlyn, before hitting a rebound spear). (Voice Over) Ashlyn Moon: Sydney’s gotta be one of the best girls on the roster. No doubt.

(Ashlyn helps Sydney up). Ashlyn: Just- flawless technique. Hell even before she got on here, she was picked up by big promotions (Moon elbows St. Clair). (Voice Over) Ozzy Kellett: There’s an element of inspiration to all this.

(The Camera shows Ashlyn and Sydney locking up, Moon transitioning to a waistlock as Sydney begins to fight out). Ozzy: I mean (He shrugs). I know what they’ve said about me, outside of the ring, my behavior. But here. In the ring, practicing, knowing we’re working towards getting to the big leagues one day. The main roster. That’s somethin’ special.

(Camera cuts to ashlyn securing a chest to back waist lock on Sydney, Ozzy on the outside leaning against the ropes).

Ozzy: Feet apart Sidney!! Pressure down!!!

(Ashlyn Moon successfully hits a German Suplex on Sydney. After Sydney quickly shuffles back to her feet, she releases the waistlock, instead, shaking hands and patting St. Clair in the back as Ozzy enters the ring). (Voice Over) Ashlyn: Look at us..

(Camera centers on all three in one of the corners)

Ozzy: Triumvirate Two… (Throws up three fingers). (All three look at each other for a second before laughing. The sound is replaced by ‘Enter Sandman’ by Metallica, blasting in the Strength and Conditioning room of the Performance Center, as we get a shot of Thorsen, halfway through bench pressing 335 pounds as Gunnar stands as his spotter). Gunnar: COME ON!!!! ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!! YOU’RE THE APEX PREDATOR!!!! THE ALPHA!!! VALHALLA!!!! (Thorsen is deep in concentration, as he completes the rep, and bolts upright after he sets the barbell on the rack). Thorsen: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- AH!!!!! HA HA!!!!!!  (Thorsen rises to his feet and pats his brother on the back). VALHALLA!!!!

Gunnar: LIVE FOREVER!!!!! HA!!! HA!!!! (Voice Over) Nelson Tethers: Think they’re actually from Valhalla? (The camera pans over to Nelson Tethers watching the Valhalla Death Squad from their rack across from their respective weight rack. Just as he was about to do his squat of 270, Jayden Carter turns and looks, before shaking his head). Jayden: Nah…. (He returns to preparing to do his reps). To be honest I think they’re just coked up….

(Jayden stands upright, walks forward, and proceeds to start his rep).

Nelson: How’d they get past the drug testing then? Jayden: (Finishes first squat) We have drug testing? Nelson: Thought we did..

Jayden: (finishes fourth squat) How’d Scott Oasis get back into the fold? Nelson: You gonna be the one to ask him to piss in a cup? Jayden: (Finishes his tenth squad and sets the bar back on hooks) Point taken…. Still, They’ve either gotta be on somethin’ or committed.

Nelson: heh…. (walks over to the bar and readies for his rep) Gotta be one of the two… (Camera cuts to Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe. Both have their hands wrapped lightly, with heavy bag gloves on. Vivina waits as Bethany practices short punches and kicks on the heavy bag).

Vivina: You know I’ve always wondered- if these people can just knock people out with one punch, why don’t they just pin ‘em? Bethany: I don’ kno’, you expec’ me to read peoples miiinds? Vivina: Don’t tell me you never wondered (Bethany throws a few punches before backing up). Bethany: I mean…. (she rests with her hands up, catching her breath), first punch knocks ‘em out, their’ head hittin’ the floo’-.... Cancels it out? Vivina: Some wrestlin’ math right there.

(Bethany gets in close, throwing a few “body shots” at the bag before leg kicking it. Suddenly one of the PC’s coaches, ‘Hellen Smith’, comes up). Hellen: When you’re dirty boxing that close, never throw kicks too close. If you wanna get a kick in- Backup, throws some jabs, and then go (Hellen demonstrates).

(Bethany and Vivina watch, before Sharpe practices and successfully executes the combo, Hellen watching the two as they switch off). (Voice Over) Hellen: You know, it’s like, I’m here not for the money. I wanna see these kids succeed.

(The Camera cuts to ellen sitting at one of the tables in the mess, the front windows and doors visible in the background, the sun shining brightly). Hellen: You always see these reports of OWA’s main roster… all the shit they do… then you see the environment here… Not about all that politicking, or the belts. These kids come in here and they want to do what they love… Just want to make sure they’ve got everything they need to know before they graduate, you know? (The camera focuses on Hellen, before panning over to the left, at Head Coach Michael Bishop). Bishop: (scratches his head, and leans forward on the table, resting both arms on it). Nah yeah- It’s like we said when we established the environment for here. None of that dramatic developmental bull, no run ins or dirty bullshit…. These kids signed up to learn how to wrestle, fight, perform… Best we can do is keep this place clean, safe, and on task… (The Camera pans over at Aengus O’Leary passing by in the background, flanked by Jayden and Chester, dressed in street clothes with their bags). Aengus: Oi’ Mike- Sparrin’ day this week’, We gonna hit up the town later on? (Chester and Aengus laugh, and Hellen looks confused at Michael). Bishop: (rubs his face) Maybe later Aeng’...

(Bishop laughs, sitting his back and shaking his head). Bishop: Long story, Heh… Damn kids.

(The Camera centers on a Sparring shot of ‘Nelson Tethers’, as Jochen Flach - Before I Awake "Day Of Hope" plays the episode out).
