Background: The journey to this point has been covered on OWT Embedded. The growth of Omega Wrestling Tomorrow, the interest generated among wrestling fans, and of course, the hard work put in by the prospects themselves certainly warranted these men and women having a bigger spotlight placed on them. With the stage set for a major, dual-branded OWA and SSW spectacle in Civil War, OWT will also break ground with their first-ever exclusive free-per-view. Inaugural champions will be crowned, history will be made, and one day, the world will look back on this night as the place where many legendary careers first gained traction.

The show kicks off with a few quick remarks from OWT General Manager Valentina Collins, who did little more than thank the fans -- both in the arena and around the world -- for their support. She promised not to take up too much of their time, and said that she hoped they planned on taking plenty of pictures, as tonight would be one to remember.

The first match to take place was one that was sure to wake the crowd up early -- the Six-Way Ladder match to crown the inaugural Commonwealth Champion. The six Alphas in the match earned their way into the bout by virtue of winning one-and-done qualifying matches in the weeks leading up to the event. Early on, the aerial-leaning Taj Navid showed he was right at home in a contest where the prize was being dangled high overhead. He and the crafty Sebastian Fuego provided many of the audience’s favorite daredevil stunts of the match. The merciless and deceptively strong Miles Maverick made much use of the latter attribute, knocking ladders over with force just about any time it looked like someone was making headway toward climbing skyward. Technician James Anderson proved he was more than capable of adapting to the match stipulation, tying Ozzy Kellett up in a figure-four leglock around the legs of the ladder and German suplexing Noah Kaplan onto a crumpled ladder on the arena floor. In a realistic contender for match of the night, Maverick proved his worth. After Fuego whacked a rapidly-climbing Kaplan in the back with a folded up ladder, Maverick caught Fuego with a heel kick to the back of the head before climbing up the ladder for himself and yanking down the Commonwealth Championship.

Up next was the title match that would decide the “workhorse” champion of the OWT women, the Spirit Championship. Spunky, world-traveled Sydney St. Clair would be tangling with a kind and fresh-faced perpetual underdog in Chantal LeBeau. The contest was a back-and-forth one, with many near-falls. Most of these were due to LeBeau’s unconventional ways of ensnaring opponents in pinning predicaments and submissions. St. Clair’s explosive offense proved to be the main thing keeping her in the game. Ultimately, Automatic Midnight netted Sydney the victory -- and the Spirit Championship. The two fan favorites shared a congenial hug in the ring afterward, and LeBeau raised St. Clair’s hand after the championship was presented to her.

The third match on the card was yet another women’s match -- albeit a wildly different one. Keeping with the main roster’s theme of big-ticket tag team matches, OWT had two on tap for the night. The first was a Five-on-Five Elimination Tag Team match featuring ten of OWT’s most talented women. One team, captained by the blue-chip prospect and former JET cornerstone BIANCA, was filled out by Farrah Layne, Ashlee Cane, Hayley Valentine, and Kaya Rayleigh. The other, captained by the slick and resourceful Rebecca Sawyer, had its lineup fleshed out with the additions of Leilani Steel, Yasmeen Namir, Ruby Auriel, and Mikela Juhasz. The eliminations generally became a call-and-answer type deal, with both teams almost always having the same number of remaining participants at any given point in time until only the team captains were left standing. The end of the match came when BIANCA pinned Sawyer, winning the match for her team and emerging as the sole survivor.

The night’s fourth match came in the form of a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the OWT Tag Team Championships. Valhalla Death Squad were the odd men out, in terms of size and in-ring style. They made great use of both attributes, flinging around all members of The Blade Brothers and The Boston Air Raid with relative ease. Gunnar and Thorsen controlled the majority of the match, leaving a shaky alliance to be made between the two sets of brothers facing them, all for the sake of possibly cutting the two big men down to size. Even so, Valhalla Death Squad spent quite a bit of time on the offensive. The game of one-upsmanship and stolen pins between The Blade Brothers and The Boston Air Raid proved to be the undoing of both teams, enabling Gunnar and Thorsen to put Aaron Blade away with Ragnarok.

Following this, the fans were treated to the second of the night’s two Five-on-Five Elimination Tag Team matches. Nolan Eliwood was tasked with leading a team of his right-hand man Miller Jones, Cyrus Raine, Jayden Carter, and Haas Blackwell into battle against Chester Black, Aengus O’Leary, Jesse Cooper, Axl Willow, and Dwight Miller. Eliwood, who was due to make his OWT exit, was determined to depart on a winning note. The situation in the match turned dire in short order, and with only Willow not in the mix at that point, Team Black outnumbered Eliwood and Jones four-to-two. The remaining members of Team Eliwood battled back, taking out Cooper and Miller in short order. The two-on-two stand-off was whittled down to a handicap match with the elimination of O’Leary soon thereafter. Black proved to be difficult to keep down, scoring several near-falls on the opposition. Eventually, however, the numbers game proved to be overwhelming, and Eliwood nailed an impactful forward somersault stunner to end the match. He and Miller shared a hug in the ring afterward.

The second-to-last match of the night was the final Goddesses contest of the evening, pitting Dani Woods against Bethany Sharpe to determine who would become the inaugural OWT Women’s Champion. The momentum continually shifted back and forth on account of the contrast between Sharpe’s slippery cunning tactics and Woods’ power advantage and ring awareness. The tides of the match turned when Sharpe hit B-Flat, and the contest appeared to be all but over until Woods got her foot on the bottom rope at the last second. The resulting frustration may have cost Sharpe, and the resulting battle ended when Woods hit Death by Dani to win the match and the championship.

The history-making main event clash for the OWT Championship was an all-out hoss fight waiting to happen, pitting two of pillars of raw power against each other in Jonah Masirewa and Travis Montana. For two men who were so used to being able to exploit a power advantage over smaller opponents, the match was sure to be something of a change of pace. “The unstoppable force meeting the immovable object”, so to speak. The ensuing match wasn’t a pretty one, but rather a spectacle full of heavy-handed blows and impressive feats of strength that had the crowd on their feet just the same. It took not one, not two, but THREE discus big boots from Montana to keep Masirewa down long enough to score the pinfall and emerge as the inaugural premier champion of Omega Wrestling Tomorrow. Judging by all the hallmarks of their hard-fought battle, though, many rightfully believe that this won’t be the last time these men face off with the belt on the line.
